The Prescott Ranch Windmill

Retired Horses
Starting April 1st, 2008 we will be taking in horses for retirement. What we will do is take your horse or horses and turn them out in a large pasture of 5-10,000 acres or bigger on our Freeman Ranch north of Williams, Arizona. They will live with other horses, deer, elk, and maybe a cow or two. They will graze on native grass, drink fresh water, and just be a horse. We will keep an eye on your horse, and will provide salt and supplemental feed as needed. We will worm your horse two times a year, spring and fall, at which time we will take a picture and email it to you. You can come to the Ranch and inspect your horse at a predetermined time if you would like. We will do this for $1,200 per year per horse. We cannot take studs or horses with severe lameness, horses must be sound and well enough to get around well. They must also be halter broke and reasonably gentle. We will require a negative coggins upon arrival, and recommend your horses teeth be floated. If you have any interest, call Mike at 928-713-4502 or email us at .
